Arabian stallion A.S. Natsir Apal
A.S. Natsir Apal is a stallion who has stamped his offspring and because of his important contribution to the breed I decided to write this article about him.
A.S. Natsir Apal was bred by De Mulder Stud from Belgium and sold to Swatam Arabians as a foal. A.S. Natsir Apal gained his first succes in the showring when he was very young. As a yearling he was Junior Champion colt at the All Nations Cup in Aachen in 1996 when he placed the international champion stallion F.S. Bengali (a two-year-old at that time) in reserve. In 1997 A.S. Natsir Apal was named European Reserve Champion colt (beaten by ZT Shak Fantasy who was champion colt) and in 1998 he was Junior Champion in Towerlands. A.S. Natsir Apal was also twice Belgian National Junior Champion (in 1996 and 1997). As a senior stallion he was also a champion stallion but I want to write for example more about him as a sire and about the horses in his pedigree then listing his showresults. In 2002 A.S. Natsir Apal was leased for two years to "Arabian Training Center" in Bagno di Romagno in Italy.

His sire Ibn Estasha is by the Straight Egyptian stallion Malik (Hadban Enzahi x Malika) and out of the mare Estasha (Shaker El Masri x Estopa), who is of Golden-Cross (Egyptian-Spanish) breeding. Estasha is a fullsister to the worldfamous stallion El Shaklan. The dam of A.S. Natsir Apal is the World Champion Saskia RJ; daughter of Multi-Champion Plakat. A.S. Natsir Apal is the halfbrother of Junior World Champion reserve A.S. Sinans Pacha (Ansata Sinan x Saskia RJ)!
Among A.S. Natsir Apal's offspring are very succesful showhorses, like SA Misha Apal (A.S. Natsir Apal x Nyara JC) who was World Champion filly 2001 and the Aishaa (A.S. Natsir Apal x Bint Sanadiva) who was German National Champion mare and International Show Champion Shahir Ibn Navaronne-D (A.S. Natsir Apal x Navaronne P).
And his grandget is also winning in the showring.
Memphis 27 (El Amin x S.A. Misha Apal) was for example European Champion in
2007.
